Day 2 of the United Futsal World Futsal Cup was again a great day with two game against Melbourne Brazil Futsal Academy from Australia and Japan Futsal Union from Japan.
The first game against Melbourne Brazil was all about breaking down a defensive block which the boys struggled with in the beginning but as the game progressed they found the solutions. The game finished in a win for us, 10-1.
The second game against Japan Futsal Union was a closely contested game for a long time with both teams showing some great futsal. Some good saves from our goalies kept us in the game until towards the end we managed to break through and finish with some great goals. 6-0 was the final score with another 3 points for us.
We finished top of the group.
Nothing beats the wonder of being part of a team.
Futsal is a fantastic sport that brings teams together and as they are rivals on the court, there is always friendship ones the whistle blows.
