🇬🇧 | Profive goes "peachtree" in Atlanta

We recently had the opportunity to spend time with our friends again in Atlanta to share our futsal and bring a little bit of Barcelona to Atlanta. We were hosted for a week by our good friend Jonathan Cueva from Rockport Soccer and being assisted by aspiring futsal coach Raul.

We ran a week of futsal sessions to introduce the players of Rockport and surrounding clubs to futsal and why we love this game so much. We worked primarily on the foundational elements of the game and our 40x20 method, namely the master the ball and master space. With the majority of the players having a soccer background, we focused on receiving and controlling the ball, body position and general keeping possession of the ball in small exercises. Always with finishing a major part of any exercise. And plenty of games as that is where futsal shines.

We also ran a coach introduction to show aspiring futsal coaches how to construct sessions and which foundational elements to focus on in their teaching.

The final day of the week we spend at Atalanta College teaching 30 players our beautiful game. A fantastic day.
